Staff are lovely, park has nice nature surrounds
A hidden oasis next to a park with lovely walking tracks...in the heart of Korumburra
Wouldnt recommend staying here, $100 a night for a cabin and it was absolutely filthy. Oven was filthy, crumbs, oil and dead flies in it. Opened the microwave and had food stuck to the plate. Thick dust covered the tv and fingerprints all over the mirror in the bathroom, dirty cushions on couch. Was absolutely disgusting. As for caravan park overall maintenance is needed badly. Have been going here for the last few years and seems to be getting worse each year. More permanent residents living here than holiday makers. Will not be returning and wouldnt recommend anyone else staying here.
Great little park if you're looking for getting back to nature but with losing the basics of modern life.Wildlife was lovely to wake up to here and the camp kitchen and associated open fire and bbq area are great for campers and Caravans alike. Amenities block is also clean and serviceable.Between the kids playground, tennis court and basketball court, our 4 year old enjoyed himself thoroughly. The owners are lovely and welcoming, the park isn't trying to be anything it isn't and we really enjoyed having a fire on the cold nights before bed. We're looking forward to our return visit. Say hi to the very friendly pony if you do come here!
This place was a refuge and permanent home for us for 10 weeks while seeking a rental property. The management Heidi & Adam Marshall are genuine, kind, understanding, but still professional & business like which I prefer, we had a well maintained relationship with them for our stay. (Permanent stay arrangements are not welcome in many places in South Gippsland. This place is rare). The permanent cabin residence of this place are respecting and private, but happy to chat too as they walk their dogs. There was one cute cat of the Marshall's that visited us regularly and more once it got tuna..which was wonderful as we love cats. This Tourist Park is neighbour to a public bush reserve with large Oak trees and many more. Easy meandering tracks for bikes and walking, also a permanent creek/river. We saw many people frequent these tracks with their dogs. Also a small swimming spot for dogs and children. In all a very pleasant stay away from home.
