Great place to visit so much to see free entry so much history well worth the visit look at phoros says it all were do u get free entry to c this kind of stuff

Really enjoyed this place. Lovely volunteers with great information and cool old buildings and artefacts.

Great little village, love the volunteers that work to help the village stay alive spiritually! Just hope to ride the train(train driver was away) look at more of the train and the other cottages...but a great day walk for the whole family and a great area for Pokemon go walks!

To clear the air- coal creak is definitely an amazing place to visit for both tourists and locals, it is NOT free, its ran by local volunteers, supported with out any funding except for what people leave in the donation box hence why it hasnt had any work or upgrades, the entry is a gold coin donation. They also have train rides there $10 ticket fee, a beautiful place to feed the ducks (dont forget to buy some seeds from the front counter for 50c as its far nutritional for the wild life opposed to bread) a lot of great information, also a general store there, great for boiled lollies and old goodies, there is a park close by which also holds a weekly weekend market for locals to sell their goods. Please come visit and please leave a donation, no matter how small, we rely on every ones support to bring coal creak back to life

Wonderful place to visit, lots to see. Good volunteers giving information in various buildings. Marvellous what has been moved into the museum to make this town. Good helpers at the information centre/entrance to museum grounds. Liked the old general store, reminded me of my childhood in Hunter coalfields - included a working wire carrier to take money to cashier from counter, cashier would then fire the change back to the customer at the counter.
